The Canberra Symphony Orchestra has a strong connection with and commitment to nurturing a love of music in young people.

We work closely with the ANU School of Music and offer scholarships to their talented students which gives unparalleled opportunities for practice and performance experience alongside some of Australia's top professional conductors and musicians.

The CSO also engages the younger community with the annual SYMPHONY FOR KIDS concerts geared towards children ages 3 to 8. Beginning in September 2007, the CSO is delighted to have presented the first of our NOTEWORTHY concerts, an in-schools music education program made possible by the generous support of the Macquarie Bank Foundation.
