Noteworthy
In 2007 the CSO and the Macquarie Group Foundation joined forces to bring free music education concerts to students in ACT Government, Catholic and Independent schools. More than 10,000 students have participated in this program, Noteworthy, over the past three years.
Interactive, age-specific concerts for primary school students and on-stage workshops with secondary school musicians are providing a vital platform from which many children are developing further musical interests.
Thanks to the support of the Macquarie Group Foundation, Noteworthy concerts are free so all ACT students have equal access to them. The CSO salutes the Macquarie Group Foundation for its commitment to enabling youth to reach their full potential.
