Noteworthy
MUSIC FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
The CSO's Music Education Program, Noteworthy, has inspired over 25,000 young Canberrans since its inception in 2007. This has been possible due to the vision and support of the Macquarie Group Foundation who share our commitment to nurture the future of music with free, interactive music-education concerts for ACT schoolchildren.

Beginning in 2012, the ACT Government is also supporting Noteworthy so that we may enhance and develop the educational needs our young people. Concerts are devised for specific age groups with everything from "clap along" rhythm concepts in Noteworthy Kinder to on-stage workshops with senior music students playing alongside our professional musicians. This support also gives us the opportunity to further develop Noteworthy Outreach which takes the program to students with disabilities at specialist schools in our community.

Noteworthy concerts are open to students in all ACT Government, Catholic and Independent Schools. The CSO thanks the Macquarie Group Foundation and the ACT Government for their inspirational commitment to young people and music in our community.
