Friends of the CSO
Get together with other music lovers and share a special association with CSO conductors and musicians when you belong to the Friends of the CSO. Pre-concert morning teas, luncheons and other social activities are a friendly, fun way to be part of your orchestra.
The Friends meet regularly and support the CSO in its mission to create and foster symphonic music of the highest quality. Through Chair Sponsorship of a CSO musician, subsidising the hire of music concerts, distributing publicity material, developing links with other Friends organisations in the ACT and producing a CSO Friends newsletter, the Friends support CSO activities and events.
Membership to the Friends of the CSO is open to all. Join us and be part of Canberra’s thriving music community.
The membership year starts on 1 February each year.
Annual Membership fees are as follows:
- $40 for a single member
- $55 for household membership
- $30 concession
A discount of $5 is given where a member supplies an email address to reduce the cost of communication.
