Working with the CSO
Musicians
The CSO holds annual auditions for rank and file players. These auditions are advertised in the Canberra Times Saturday edition Public Notices section, on display at the School of Music, on Arts Hub and on this site. Please note that these auditions are for people either resident in the ACT or within a reasonable access to the ACT (mostly defined as 200 kms).
Musicians who have evidence of successful completion of an audition for another sizable, professional orchestra are welcome to provide details of this and their recent professional engagements to the Orchestra Manager at any time.
