The glorious Enigma Variations concludes the celebratory Llewellyn series in 2010. The characters of Elgar’s dearest friends emerge with wonderful variety and colour in his beautiful personal tribute which includes the sheer orchestral warmth of “Nimrod” among others. 10:4 also features Max Bruch’s beloved Violin Concerto No 1, performed by the sensational 2009 Young Performer of the Year Strings Winner, Ji Won Kim and as our opening work, Graeme Koehne’s brilliant Elevator Music is captivating with its wild energy and intoxicating vitality.
